Position Description

Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. To support this mission, we are seeking an Energy Acquisition Analyst to support the Air Force Directorate of Civil Engineers (AF/A4C) at the Pentagon. The ideal candidate will support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Operational Energy (SAF/IEN) with Senior Project Management and Policy Support SME(s) at their respective company location or onsite if direct support is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment, and Energy's (SAF/IE) Operational Acquisitions Energy Program governance and programmatic documents (e.g., AFIs, policies,), action plan recommendations, task and inquiry responses, and issue resolution action plans.
  • Provide detailed updates to leadership and interested parties by participating in 23 meetings/forums and coordinating, consolidating, developing, and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials (e.g., slides, after action reports, minutes)
  • Review CFL and MAJCOM Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System (JCIDS), key performance parameters (KPP), capabilities-based assessments, Air Force strategic planning system; capabilities, requirements, and lifecycle management processes; and PPBE to include OSD CAPE SNaP (Select & Native Programming) plans using existing DoD and AF processes and tools.
  • Participate in Science and Technology (S&T) evaluations and Research Development Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) and S&T reviews.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of DoD acquisition experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
