Summary

*Hybrid Working Schedule-must be onsite in Maine based on business needs

The MaineHealth Telehealth Product Manager will be responsible for leading the selection and implementation of patient- and provider-facing Telehealth technologies at MaineHealth. The Telehealth work is broad and growing quickly, covering inpatient acute consults and virtual rounding in hospitals across Maine and New Hampshire, outpatient telehealth services/visits when the patient is located at home, outside the home, and in the clinic, and a growing portfolio of remote patient monitoring programming. The Product Manager is expected to support vendor and partner review and selection of new technologies; additionally, the Product Manager is expected to establish extensive knowledge of internal solutions to be able to identify when it would be favorable to build versus partner. Selected technologies will be brought through the new product pipeline, from ideation to implementation to ongoing facilitation of iterations during the maintenance phase. The Product Manager will maintain knowledge of current and emerging telehealth software and hardware technologies and an understanding of primary standards and compliance issues in telehealth care delivery. Additionally, the Product Manager should have an understanding of the Epic electronic health record and have experience working closely with IT and analytics teams to allow for frequent and ongoing iterations of new technology and programming. They will be comfortable with formal project management processes and methods of managing projects and working with multiple stakeholders on complex, innovative, and highly impactful new programs, and highly impactful new programs.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, with an emphasis in computer science, engineering or a related field.
  2. License/Certification: N/A
  3. Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of progressive experience in product management and development. Proven work experience in healthcare as well as knowledge of systems and IT organizations. Experience in vendor management.
  4. Expert Experience in patient and provider UI/UX for telehealth and virtual care technologies.
  5. Project/process management, account management or related capabilities a plus.
  6. Must be flexible and adaptable to unexpected changes in a deadline-driven environment.
  7. Must have excellent organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
  9. Able to direct team members in a matrixed environment.
  10. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
  11. Skilled Facilitator.
  12. Creative thinker with a vision and attention to details.
