This position is 9-5:30pm M-F.

Responsibilities include:

- Facilitate safety committee meetings

- Implement risk assessments and safety inspection

- Incident response, investigations, and root cause analysis

- CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) task management in Data Management System

- SDS Management Systems

- Internal communications

- Bulletins and notifications

- Safety presentations and training

- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite manager and reporting systems

- Supports management's efforts to ensure compliance with all corporate program expectations and applicable federal & state laws

- Conducts risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions

- Associate AA in Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or a related discipline

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in related Safety, Health, and Environmental specialty

- Experience with emergency response program development and implementation

- Process safety

- Lab experience and knowledge strongly preferred

- Highly detailed, strong and organized safety professional with excellent writing skills who can conduct gap assessments and write SOP and filing documents

- Comfortable working with potentially hazardous materials

- Recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures to manager, including ergonomics

-Manage inventory and waste management

- Travel is required to other local sites

- Other duties as requested

- Excellent Presentation skills

- Strong computer skills
