The Senior Director Marketing, Digestive Health will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive growth, increase market share, and enhance brand awareness within the digestive health sector. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product portfolio. The digestive health portfolio is composed of TUMS, Benefiber, Preparation-H, Nexium, Gas-X, Citrucel, ex-lax, and alli.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive growth and market share within Digestive Health.

  • Oversee the development and management of brand strategies for our digestive health product portfolio. Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all channels.

  • Strong experience developing, leading, and executing robust Earned Media campaigns and Paid/Organic Social as the Digestive Health portfolio grows its younger consumer base.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute marketing initiatives, including product launches, brand campaigns, and promotional activities.

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, including competitive intelligence, consumer behavior, and market trends. Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation.

  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, traditional advertising, and PR. Manage advertising agencies and external vendors to execute campaigns effectively.

  • Partner with sales teams to develop effective sales tools, collateral, and training materials. Provide support to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives.

  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives. Monitor and report on key performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and financial performance.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory affairs, sales, and finance, to drive alignment and ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.

*This position is based in Warren, NJ and follows a hybrid model, requiring 2-3 days of in-office presence.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing roles within the healthcare or consumer packaged goods industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Creative Bravery and understanding how to develop distinctive brand assets through video/digital assets.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Understanding of US marketing and commercial landscape, including D-Comm

  • Brand building and growth, with the ability to identify and deploy powerful insights.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies, preferably within the digestive health or related therapeutic area.

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing plans.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

  • Demonstrable understanding of media and the digital space

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA

  • Experience delivering results in a matrix organization.

  • Demonstrated effectiveness as leader, facilitator, and team member, with strong communication skills.

The salary range for this role is $ 208,684 -269,298
