WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh is seeking an experienced mixed methods researcher to lead market research and message testing studies for communication campaigns. The Communication Research team conducts research that shapes communications efforts spanning a range of topics and objectives, including health communication campaigns, personnel recruitment and workforce communications, and public affairs. The selected individual will serve in a Project Manager role for several research studies, leading project teams in the design, execution, and reporting of studies using various methodologies (e.g., focus groups, in-depth interviews, surveys). This person will provide technical leadership and coordinate the completion of project tasks and deliverables across teams and team members, upholding high standards for the team to exceed client expectations.


Responsibilities include:

*Leading the design, execution, and management of studies using various methodologies (e.g., focus groups, in-depth interviews, surveys).

*Guiding the creation of research plans and study materials such as questionnaires, moderator guides, protocol testing, and quality control plans.

*Overseeing the conduct of univariate and multivariate analyses, qualitative analyses, and reporting.

*Synthesizing data and other information to identify key takeaways and recommendations for communications.

*Overseeing the development of research reports and briefings summarizing research methods, findings, and implications. Providing feedback to researchers and guidance for tailoring these materials for non-technical audiences.

*Collaborating with project team on a day-to-day basis to work under tight deadlines to fulfill client requests.

*Coordinating with vendors and internal teams toward completion of study tasks.

*Developing and tracking project schedules to ensure required deliverables are submitted in a consistent manner, error-free and on-time to the client.

*Mentoring researchers in the development of their research skills and providing feedback on work.

*Anticipating potential barriers to project completion, proposing solutions to team leadership.

*Contributing to technical design and written proposals for research in response to federal RFPs and new business prospecting opportunities.


Qualifications:

*Ph.D., Master's, or bachelor's degree in communication, social science, public health, or a related field.

*A minimum of six years of applied research experience required.

*Extensive experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis.

*Experience applying behavior change and social science theory to employer recruiting, campaign development, or marketing and communication efforts.

*Experience creating visual and written summaries of research results (e.g., in PowerPoint and Word) that can be understood by non-technical audiences.

*High degree of team orientation. Experience leading project teams in the execution of research.

*Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills.

*Comfort with fast-paced and evolving settings and balancing multiple priorities.

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
