Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Medicare Program Training Specialist.

Position Status: Full-time, Days

Standard Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (EST)

Remote opportunities available in the following states: Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

For those located in Washington State, the following salary range applies: $50,019.60 - $84,040.32

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred

  • 4 years experience in claims, contact centers, provider relations, enrollment, system administration or related healthcare field required

  • Previous Experience in Instruction/Design required

  • Previous Experience as a Project Team Member required

  • Medicare Experience preferred

  • Training/Teaching Experience preferred

  • Must possess ability to create clear & concise presentations and possess excellent presentation skills.

Job Summary

Medicare Learning and Development Specialists help plan, conduct, and administer programs that train employees and improve their skills and knowledge on our Medicare Products

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Design and create training materials, online learning modules, and course materials
*Deliver training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques including virtual instructor led
*Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinate enrollment.
*Assess training needs for Medicare Program team and within operational areas
*Other duties as assigned

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree
