Under general supervision performs a wide variety of complex loan servicing tasks that are in compliance with regulatory and bank policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

* Boards all consumer, commercial, and mortgage loans on the Bank's loan core

* Services and maintains the existing loan portfolio. Includes but is not limited to loan maintenance, code corrections and/or changes, reversals, and reapplication of payments, settlement of loan general ledger accounts, escrow functions, participation functions, and collateral monitoring.

* Responds to and resolves internal and external customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner through ticketing system and the Contact Center.

* Accurately quote loan payoffs in a timely manner.

* Monitors and maintains daily and monthly reports.

* Performs charge-off and non-accrual functions.

* Collaborates with other internal departments to resolve all loan-level exceptions.

* Tests system releases for new functionality and assurance of existing functionality.

* Participates in projects as needed.

* Accountable for the understanding of and adherence to operational controls, policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with bank policies and related laws and regulations

* Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.

Position Requirements (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities)

* Knowledge of loan operations, software systems, loan types, and loan compliance.

* Knowledge of accounting processes and procedures related to lending.

* Knowledge of Loan Servicing regulations and guidelines.

* Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to distill and convey information in a compelling manner.

* Skill in adopting technological advancements and facilitating into current and future responsibilities.

* Skill in discovering and working to meet underlying needs; following through on questions, requests, complaints.

* Ability to proactively complete tasks, recognize and solve problems, improve processes, enhance products, and/or extend services within assigned range of authority.

* Ability to anticipate, monitor, and meet the needs of customers (internal and external) and respond in an appropriate manner.

* Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively and have positive relationships with customers (internal and external).

* Ability to prioritize a variety of job responsibilities, meet deadlines, and adapt to rapid changes in priorities.

* Possesses the drive to work towards a standard of excellence.

Education/Experience:

* High School diploma or GED.

* Minimum one (1) year of loan processing or loan servicing, or related experience.

* Minimum of two (2) years of Loan Operations and/or Loan Servicing experience preferred.

* Knowledge of Fiserv Signature preferred.
