Position Summary: Oasys is seeking a Communications Analyst to join our team. The Communications Analyst will assist in developing strategic communication plans, process documentation, content organization, and structure and will work with stakeholders to support various communication and outreach efforts as required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Document key stakeholder communication requirements
  • Ensure communication tasks are executed in accordance with the strategic plan.
  • Create communication artifacts for various purposes, such as generating release notes at the end of each sprint.
  • Create job aids for internal and external users for new features.
  • Create various materials for internal and external users, including how-to guides and fact sheets.
  • Attend sprint meetings (such as sprint reviews) to assist in creating sprint-related artifacts.
  • Facilitate meetings as required.
  • Document standard operating procedures
  • Optimize Outreach - develop metrics and dashboards for improved communication efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence is preferred.
  • The candidate must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A professional attitude regarding attention to detail, customer service, and excellent organizational skills are required.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients and staff are required.

Education/Experience Minimum Requirements:

  • College degree; advanced preferred in the relevant area
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have a Public Trust

Work Location:

  • Fairfax, VA - Hybrid
