We are searching for a talented HR Business Partner and Labor Relations Manager.

*This position is a hybrid remote position. On average, this position is required to be in-person for meetings, client group rounding, labor relations meetings and etc.. approximately 2-3 times per week. (New Bedford, Fall River, Wareham and surrounding cities and towns)

Under the limited direction of the Director, Employee & Labor Relations, the HR Business Partner & Labor Relations Manager supports the delivery of all HR services to internal client groups. The HRBP partners closely with managers and provides human resources advice, coaching, development, and support to their assigned client groups. They are responsible for navigating employee and/or labor relations with client groups and with units employing members of assigned collective bargaining unit(s) across the organization. They have direct impact on employee satisfaction with HR's services and brand within the organization. Provides employees with the insights they need to navigate all things HR in a timely fashion. Directly responsible for supporting assigned collective bargaining unit contracts, in concert with Director of Employee & Labor Relations. Serves as primary contact for union information requests and ensure monthly reporting to unions is accurate and done timely.

Education and/or Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, a clinical discipline, or another related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources generalist and leadership experience is required. Experience working with labor organizations in the healthcare industry highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and conflict resolution, are required. Business literacy skills are needed.
  • Must be able to work independently with management on strategies and process improvement for assigned areas throughout the system, including multi-site responsibilities. Knowledge of employment/labor and other related laws are required.
  • Experience and proficiency using various personal computer software including MS Office, internet, and HRIS systems.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
