CFC has a need for a Director, Capital Markets Funding to join their Capital Markets team. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays. The Director, Capital Markets Funding oversees the management of CFC's derivatives portfolio, debt security issuance and debt compliance.

As a Director, Capital Markets Funding, you will:
* Administer CFC's derivatives and long-term funding programs including public and private debt issuances.
* Manage the preparation and presentation of quarterly derivatives and long-term debt valuation process and quarterly reporting for use in CFC's financial statements.
* Manage the execution of debt securities and derivatives transactions.
* Prepare and conduct capital markets research, management reports and other ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for internal and external stakeholders including board of directors, member meetings and events.
* Direct others in the preparation and tracking of CFC debt compliance requirements.
* Oversee collateral tracking and reporting processes required to support CFC's secured long-term debt programs.
* Partner with stakeholders in drafting SOX documents and procedures, ensure compliance with internal controls and respond to internal audit requests. * Develop and review financial models.
* Manage Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for Treasury functions.
* Develop and mentor staff to establish bench strength.

To be successful, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
* MBA or Master's in finance, accounting or economics strongly preferred.
* CFA designation preferred.
* 10 years of experience in financial management.
* Previous management experience.
* Experience in corporate treasury and capital markets transactions
* Experience working with treasury management systems.
* Expert financial modeling skills.
* Knowledge of general accepted accounting principles.
* Expert knowledge of, and proven ability to apply financial, capital markets and debt issuance best practices.
* Significant verbal and written communication skills.
* Expert understanding of and ability to use Bloomberg terminal.
* Significant management and leadership abilities.
* Expert MS Office skills.
* Ability to balance multiple priorities and take direction from multiple sources.
* Ability to work within multiple disciplines at one time.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to meet strict deadlines.
