Second (Evenings) (United States of America)Sentara Halifax Hospital is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician to work a 14-week assignment in the clinical lab!- Temporary Full Time, 14-week assignment
- Evening Shift: 2:30-11:00pm, Rotating weekends and holidays
- $48/hr (MLT/MT) and $45/hr (MLT)
- ASCP or AMT certification required
- No benefits

Minimum Requirements:
- AMT Medical Technologist (MT/MLT) or ASCP Technologist (MLS)
- Medical Laboratory Scientist: Bachelor's Degree
- Medical Laboratory Technician: Associate's Degree

Job Summary
Performs laboratory tests; interprets test results; documents and reports test results; maintains equipment, instruments, and tools.Associates degree from an accredited institution required. ASCP or AMT certification required. Candidate with the required education/experience and are eligible for the examination have within one year from date of hire to obtain certification. As a new graduate from an accredited institution, certification must be acquired within one year from date of hire. Certification must remain current for continued employment.
