Overview

Ishpi Information Technologies, Inc. (ISHPI), an SDVOSB and mentor in an 8(a) joint venture, is seeking an experienced Business Development and Professional Services Sales Director to join our dynamic growth team. We are passionate about providing our customers with technical solutions that satisfy their business needs. Through collaborative interactions with customers, team members, subject matter experts , technical leaders, and partners, we design practical solutions that solve real problems for major DoD and agency organizations. As a member of our group, you will work with a team of technologists focused on delivering innovative business solutions using emerging technologies through proven successful methods.

Role:

This is a rainmaker role that is crucial for continuing our expansion within the Federal and defense sectors. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with an existing client base and a proven, demonstrable record of capturing federal technical and professional services engagements that generate revenue.

Responsibilities
    Apply knowledge of federal contracting, procurement processes, and existing and emerging contract vehicles. Our existing contract base includes GSA MAS Schedule (HACS), CIO-SP4, DHA MHS EITS, CMS SPARC, RS3, STARS III, SeaPort-NXG, OASIS SB, Coast Guard CEDISS.
  • Initially focus on short-term set-aside small business opportunities on 8(a) track or other vehicles to win new revenue-generating business opportunities.
  • Strategically advance and manage identified opportunities through an actual award. Focus on advancing identified opportunities through in-depth research, analysis, and strategic engagement to maintain both revenue-generating work and the long-term pipeline of Contract Vehicles, GWACs and AWACS.
  • Collaborate with existing customers and ISHPI's client base to understand client needs and tailor capture approaches, accordingly, ensuring alignment with our core capabilities enabling set-aside contracts, and positioning us for new competitive Task Orders and Contracts.
Qualifications
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must have experience within the SBA 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business Program, Mentor Protege Joint Ventures, and Co-Prime relationships.
  • 5-10 years of experience in business development activities with the federal government.
  • Proven track record increasing professional services sales ($15+M Annually) utilizing socioeconomic set-asides and orders on existing GWACs/AWACs, demonstrated throughout their employment history.
  • Prefer 2-4 years of experience successfully supporting one of the following: U.S. Coast Guard, Army, or DHA.
  • Excellent communication skills; oral, written, analytical, time management, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organization skills.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance (existing Secret clearance preferred).
  • Ability to travel as necessary to meet and continue to foster clients and teaming partners, support proposal efforts, and attend conferences.

Pay Rate/Compensation:
The annual base salary range and bonus compensation for this position will be disclosed to any qualified applicants from the states for which salary information must be disclosed.
