Responsibilities

      • Effectively run all digital cutting equipment
      • Operate digital presses, as well as the software necessary for print operations.
      • Machine set up and adjustments.
      • Load machine, observe operation and match samples to job order specifications.
      • Preventive maintenance on regular basis
      • Operate maintenance of all components in order to produce product meeting the quality and quantity limits established.
      • Troubleshoot various press issues as needed.
      • Ensure have proper press supplies/inventory on hand to meet production needs.
      • Track job costs/production hours as applicable.
      • Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions and ensure that the department meets and exceeds safety requirements.
      • Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in timely and accurate manner.
      • Work overtime as needed.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

      High school diploma or equivalent, four years relevant industry experience

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

      • Previous experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution and/or fulfillment.
      • Experience using an ERP system.

      KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

      • Ability to communicate/understand written and oral instructions.
      • Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish color.
      • Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up.
      • Basic computer skills
      • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
      • Basic measuring skills including Standard and Metric units.

      WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

      • Frequent walking and standing.
      • Manual dexterity for repetitive work
      • Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
      • Ability to lift, push and pull, up to 50 pounds.

    The national pay range for this role is $16.00 - $23.00 per hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
