Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a Clin Tech 2 to join the Cardiovascular ICU team! This role is full-time working Day/Night shift with a varied schedules as needed by the department.

Requirements for consideration:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-year of acute care experience as a Clinical Technician.
• Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire.

Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Provides direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized, with predictable outcomes, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Effectively communicates with health team members, patients and families; Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.
• Assists unit leadership with overseeing other unit Clinical Technician education records.
• Has respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
• Maintains competencies and seeks opportunities to develop professionally.
• Identifies own learning needs based on self-evaluation and the progress made from the previous year's goals.
• Assumes responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning and seeks opportunities to further increase practice knowledge.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
