Job Description

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for effectively handling all day-to-day functions related to processing orders, maintaining reports and managing inventory requirements related to Contracts, Strategic Accounts and Turnkey Services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all pricing is kept current and up-to-date in compliance with the contract, stocking agreement and Engineered Floors policies.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Turnkey Services, including providing project quantity estimates, proposals, order processing, project completion documentation, invoicing and payment to subcontractors. All deadline driven.
  • Assist with the Private Label program to ensure contract price files are maintained in accordance with company price increases. Communicate with sales on drop products.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of price files, contract files and the Turnkey System in CAMS.
  • Must have working knowledge of products to assist with customer calls requiring product recommendations, problem resolutions, complaint handling and troubleshooting utilizing in depth product knowledge. Maintain communication with other individuals and department as necessary.
  • Direct point of contact for Home Depot and Haven Floors. Responsible for all orders including pricing, tracking, updating Home Depot Commerce Hub and maintaining inventory of outside vendor items
  • Develop and maintain operational, procurement and record keeping systems for efficient performance and audit records of client contracts and agreements.
  • Administer contracts and purchase agreements ensuring they are current and up-to-date.
  • Extract data to compile reports.
  • Back-up to other Account Services Coordinator's as needed.

Performance Expectations (if applicable):

  • Work is performed in a general office environment. Most work can be performed while sitting with occasional standing and walking. Requires use of multiple types of general office equipment including computers, fax, phone, copier, and other devices.

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • HS diploma or equivalent is required. College or advanced degree preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in a sales, marketing/sales support or customer service role required including experience with strategic accounts, contracts and turn-key projects for state, local and federal business.

Other Requirements:

  • Must have working knowledge of AS400.
  • Position requires accuracy and close attention to detail.
  • Strong math skills to build price lists that are in compliance with the contract and Engineered Floors policies.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer or other similar office software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a highly motivated, pro-active individual with a strong sense of urgency for all assigned tasks. Must be deadline driven.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret request for proposals and quotes, general business related periodicals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Strong customer service and team work ability
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Irregular and or extended hours are required on occasion to handle special contracting projects/opportunities. Contracts, RFP's and submittal requirements have hard stop deadlines.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Customer Relations and Account Services Manager
