Job Description

The Sr. HR Business Partner proactively interacts with designated leaders to execute HR strategies aligned with business goals that enhance organizational performance and drive business results. The HRBP delivers integrated talent management solutions including workforce planning, employee and labor relations, compensation and performance management, organization effectiveness, succession planning and talent development. The HRBP engages the human resources team to provide specialized expertise in support of business leaders and employees in the unit. The incumbent will also lead and participate in special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and understand the business environment, strategy and people initiatives.
  • Strong relationship building skills and demonstrated ability to effectively build trust and credibility with senior level management.
  • Expertise in developing and managing innovative HR programs, initiatives and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrable understanding and application of employment and labor laws.
  • Experience in administering performance management programs and linking pay and performance.
  • Knowledge and practical application of organizational effectiveness and change management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional consultation, coaching, facilitation, organizational and change management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and utilizing HRIS systems.
  • Excellent project management skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required with a focus on Human Resources or related discipline preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR designation preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8+ years' experience in a human resources business partner, generalist or labor relations role.
  • At least 2 years directly supporting a group covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
  • Strong working knowledge of organizational effectiveness and a broad range of "best practices"-that contribute to driving a high performance culture and organization.
