Administrative Assistant
Arlington, VA

MUST:

Active DoD Top Secret Clearance w/sci eligibility
Experience Administrative Assistant / office assistant
3+ years of professional experience in an administrative or office management role
1+ years of actual DoD experience directly supporting an organization's front office with subordinate units that require coordination on administrative support

Ability to use CATMS or similar action tracking software for manage
Experience booking travel and coordinating travel for senior members of a team using Defense Travel Systems (DTS)
Advanced MS office Suite skill sets to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent communications both written and verbal skills
High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
Self Starter with "can do" attitude
Associates Degree or better is preferred

DUTIES:
Provides comprehensive administrative support services for daily operations
Performs clerical functions such as maintaining calendars; arranging travel; planning, coordinating, help managing supplies and equipment; preparing correspondences, reports, and presentations; preparing, managing, and coordinating tasks; and assisting the client managing projects
Scheduling, facilitating, and preparing for meetings, engagements, and events for DoD clients
Support engagements by making travel arrangements for foreign and domestic travel as well as arranging for local travel via government vehicles and for parking at local DoD Facilities
Support the mission initiative team members in the preparation of deliverables, reports, briefings, and related products associated with the respective mission area
Coordinates and communicates behalf of the Clients, including calls, responding to email and interfacing, with stakeholders or their staffs at all levels.

Taking notes in meeting and assisting with presentations
Take on office task to help advance the mission and meet deadlines for DoD clients
Other duties as assigned
