Job Description
Synchron has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Senior Logistics Analyst to provide logistics management program support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. You will provide support to the Undersea Defensive Warfare Systems Program Office (PMS 415) for Navy counter-measure defense systems. We are seeking a candidate to join our team and help provide the US Navy with cutting edge undersea warfare capabilities and technology.

Responsibilities:
  • Support government with Configuration Management (CM) roles and responsibilities, as well as supporting Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCA).
  • Manage Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM) database, support iPDM administrators and stakeholders with document management.
  • Participate in ECP, ECI, EC development and reviews.
  • Support program office with Model-Based Product Support (MBPS) database data mining and migration.
  • Facilitate discussions and communications among stakeholders on program status and goals to improve alignment of program achievements with acquisition DoD processes.
  • Participate and support internal and external meetings and briefings. The Contractor shall interface between Program Office and various stakeholders and respond to internal and external inquiries.
  • Assist PMS 415L leadership in the Independent Logistics Assessments (ILA) process and other mandated processes required to meet Initial Operating Capability (IOC) and Full Operating Capability (FOC) provide feedback on all assessment findings.
Education and Experience:
  • 15 years of logistics analysis, planning and program management support.
  • Expert knowledge of the Twelve Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements in the DoD Product Support Manager’s (PSM) Guidebook.
  • Experience with iPDM, MBPS, and similar data management databases.
  • Excellent communications and analytical skills; able to meet with program officials and influence actions needed to meet program milestones.
  • Experience briefing senior leaders (O-6/GS-15 and above).
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Desired Education and Experience:
  • Experience supporting the US Navy or active-duty Navy experience is preferred.

Work Location: Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC. Remote (option for 100% telework)

Travel: potential for travel (less than 10%)
