Job Overview & Responsibilities

The S&L SaaS Account Manager will be responsible for generating new sales leads, qualifying opportunities and closing new business in your defined territory. This position will be responsible for engaging with customers and OEM proactively to identify new opportunities and move them through the sales cycle to closure. This position will build actionable proposals for customers, ensuring that internal reporting and CRM systems are up to date, maintain an accurate forecast to management by understanding a customer procurement process and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts. The S&L SaaS Account Manager will contribute to the company's sales goals by following the processes and procedures necessary to support a transaction in a timely and effective manner, helping a customer to identify the optimal solution for their needs, leveraging the internal sales tools and engaging with internal resources as needed. Utilizing internal and external resources to learn about Oracle products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies are important foundations of this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Identify new SaaS solutions in territory including but not limited to; engaging with Oracle sales teams and proactively engaging with customers to identify new opportunities.
  • Manage the sales cycle from quote and proposal development, creating, managing, and updating Mythics CRM system and deal/opportunity processing.
  • Engage with internal resources as needed to engage and assist customers with ensuring product and cloud adoption and success.
  • Enter, update and maintain accurate and current data in Mythics CRM System with regards to opportunities, products, forecast percentage and other important information.
  • Develop account and territory plan on a regular basis to maximize the sales opportunity within an account.
  • Build relationships with OEM and customers to be viewed as trusted partner in territory.
  • Maintain updated, organized files on all accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Generate reports as requested out of Mythics Sales Portal and/or CRM system.
  • Complete assigned training in territory and leverage training to fulfill assigned duties in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of sales or customer service experience.
  • Experience working with MS Office applications, including Word & Excel.
  • Experience using and maintaining a CRM system.
  • Support territory based working hours while located outside of assigned territory.

  • Ability to prioritize and organize competing priorities with minimal guidance and supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and other departments across the organization.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
  • Ability to work independently under general guidance and supervision, following department standards and procedures.
  • Ability to solve moderately complex issues with minimal guidance and supervision.
