General Summary
Performs a variety of professional/administrative human resource functions in areas such as benefits, recruitment, on boarding, talent management, HR policy administration, recordkeeping and HRIS and employee records. Involves a high degree of organization, confidentiality, integrity and independence.
Essential Job Functions
Assist in full cycle Talent Acquisition and recruitment processes to include sourcing passive talent
Coordinate and participate in job fairs and campus recruitment strategy
Create and maintain recruiting related marketing materials to attract qualified applicants
Handle benefit and disability related inquiries from employees, managers, and retirees
Process all benefit vendor invoices and admin fees that are submitted on a weekly basis.
Assists with Career Pathing and employee Career Development planning process
Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole and to improve the employees' experience
Assist with coaching managers and supervisors regarding the interpretation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
Track trends (hiring, turnover), gather data and make recommendations for recruiting process improvements, employee retention, etc.
Participate in HR Team meetings and attend other meetings as deemed appropriate Develop and deliver group presentations
Engages with members of leadership team regarding Succession Planning

QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience across several HR disciplines with an emphasis in full life cycle recruitment and benefits. SHRM-CP certification a plus.
Requirements
Proven ability to recruit candidates from a variety of sources in a high volume, fast-paced environment, campus recruitment experience a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of federal/state laws regarding employment practices. Strong follow-through and sense of ownership with an aptitude for building successful and engaging relationships.
Ability to apply strategic thinking and non-traditional approaches to contribute to long-range planning to competitively position the organization for growth.

Work Environment
Job functions are performed in an office environment with occasional travel to meetings and HR related events
While traveling may have contact with hazardous materials and drive/travel and work in adverse weather conditions
