Job Overview & Responsibilities

The Marketing Communications Coordinator supports both Mythics and Emergent brands with internal and external communication tactics, and will provide brand management support through the implementation of marketing, public relations, advertising and promotional communication strategies. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will manage daily marketing responsibilities that include social media and marketing communications, such as email communication plans, social media content development, press release creation and distribution, and internal communications. This position will also oversee lead/list management for both Mythics and Emergent. S/he must be an organized self-starter, capable of analyzing data to propose and execute campaigns. The ability to adapt to rapid changes and manage through dynamic situations is a must. Hybrid and in office Tues and Thurs.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

    Development and production of marketing communications materials, including emails, social media, press releases, internal communications and other items as assigned.
  • Working with the Corporate Marketing Manager to develop and execute a social media calendar
  • Oversee and manage the social media Brand Ambassador program and content supporting that initiative
  • Manage and maintain contacts within the Mythics HubSpot CRM and develop a system to manage Emergent's email contact lists.
  • Development and oversight of email campaigns and list/lead management
  • Interface with team members to provide updates on campaign performance and share data metrics that will contribute to overall marketing reporting capabilities.
  • Assists with other related marketing duties in support of business development activities and sales team performance.
Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business administration or a related area of study and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing
  • Working experience with job-related software applications including: Wrike (or similar), HubSpot, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, Teams, SharePoint, Canva, MailChimp, and other applicable SaaS tools
  • Experience with social media management tools, such as Sprout Social
  • Prior experience in Business to Business (B2B) or Business to Government (B2G) marketing a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication for understanding project requirements and explaining these needs to employees and third-party providers
  • Attention to detail to ensure all specifications are met
  • Problem-solving abilities to correct any challenges or inefficiencies for the best results
  • Excellent time management, problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects
  • Team player with effective relationship and interpersonal skills
