Responsibilities

The Information Assurance Manager role will be based in the DC/Metro region and tele-work may be available. Selected candidate must be able to support occasional travel as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

    Responsible for leading a team of experienced cyber security professionals responsible for reviewing, researching, vetting and documenting computer network defense attributes.
  • Develop a performance measurements framework and facilitate feedback system to team members on issues such as customer service, communication, and technical skills, in order to enhance the quality of support delivered.
  • Participate in the development of a service level agreements and ongoing management of service level compliance and performance goals.
  • Create and maintain a training program for increased business, customer service and technical knowledge.
  • Resolve daily issues of a complex scope that impact the team and overall business objectives.
  • Maintain a high level of employee morale within the team by creating a high-performance organization.
  • Obtain equipment, tools, and space needed to allow team members to adequately support the customers.
  • Assist in the professional and technical development of team leaders enabling them to set technical goals, monitor, mentor, and coach and assist team members to deliver quality support.
  • Support the development of performance metrics.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining documented processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 15 years' experience required. An additional 4 years of related technical work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum on an active Secret security clearance is required.
  • Agile, ITIL, Service Now or equivalent certification required.
  • Experience implementing security program consistent with Federal law, regulation, policy (Computer Security Act, FISMA, NIST800, OMB Circular A-130, Executive Orders, Presidential Directives, FITARA).
  • Experience with Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRT) and management of security tools, e.g., SPLUNK, Syslog.
  • Experience with Vulnerability and Compliance Management.
  • Experience working with agency-level Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
  • Experience conducting security audits and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms).
  • Experience managing large teams and working with government senior level and/or executive level leadership.

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
