Overview

SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst II/III to join our team! In this position, you will support the Naval Integrated Fire Control (NIFC) Program. You will be responsible for providing Adjudication Review Board support to include classified meeting support, Model Document reviews and importing and exporting files. You will also be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of CM processes, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on program requirements. This position is in a classified work environment and located on site at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform CM and Data Management functions: Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Status Accounting, Audits, and Data Management
  • Review plans, processes and procedures associated with the CM functional areas; including maintain and delivering Model and Document Reviews
  • Update Configuration Management and Data Management Plan with new processes and process improvements
  • Develop and revise process documents in support of configuration process management
  • Maintain effective customer relationships
  • Facilitate communication flow within internal team and external customers within classified environment
  • Prepare User Requests for sNSERC and NSERC
  • Maintain document control through the use of NIFC SharePoint and Inteldocs
  • Develop weekly and monthly reports utilizing Microsoft (MS) Word and other material utilizing Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, DOTS Web Transfer Portal, DOD Safe, ARL Safe and other industry recognized programs
  • Generate meeting minutes, including tracking action items and participant listings for various Working Groups (ACWG, MSWG, PAWG, SIWG, SDWG, TEWG, NIFC Training, MEWG etc.
  • Generate various status accounting reports, perform data audits, and other CM duties
  • Generate/update briefs/presentations and attend meetings as required
  • Ensure electronic deliveries of files and documentation occur
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks of configuration data to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain file repositories and workflows in online repositories (such as sNSERC, NSERC, Inteldocs, etc.)
  • Maintaining SCG's from multiple external programs and classification of Secret material (email, documents, reports)

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have five (5) -seven (7) years or more of CM experience
  • Proficient with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers, and government customers
  • Ability to multi-task, work well independently and in a team environment
  • Dependable, self-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy
  • Must have an understanding of Security Classification Guides and how they are used within a Naval Program

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience related to Weapons systems and/or Navy programs
  • Previous experience in a classified work environment
