The Program Coordinator provide administrative and secretarial support based on applicable policies, rules and procedures.
The Program Coordinator will support to 2-3 divisions within the Department of Neurology, including clinical, administrative, fiscal, research, and academic duties. Under the direction of the Division Supervisor and/or Neurology Leadership, responsibilities include but are not limited to : *Oversight and management of administrative calendars for division faculty and APPs oScheduling, attending, and taking minutes for meetings oSubmitting faculty and APP leave requests *Collating and processing reimbursements (eg travel, recruitment) *Drafting faculty recruitment itineraries, and hosting on-site and virtual recruitment visits *Submitting requests to revise leadership-approved Neurology clinical schedules *Purchasing Division office supplies *Department and Division project assistance
This position requires a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy as the initial administrative contact for the divisions, as well as flexibility to pivot due to a high paced work environment with competing priorities. Experience REQUIRED:
Minimum of four (4) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting
Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications and e-mail/calendaring
Experience PREFERRED:
Five (5) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting
Previous experience in an academic health care setting
Education/training REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Education/training PREFERRED:
Associate Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field from an accredited program
Independent action(s) required:
