The HRIS Manager plays a pivotal role in optimizing our Human Resources Information System (ADP Workforce Now) to support Systems Planning and Analysis' strategic objectives. This individual will lead the management, functionality, and strategy of HRIS systems and processes, as well as a small team with HRIS analyst responsibilities. The role requires a dynamic blend of technical prowess, strategic thinking, and effective communication to enhance the service delivery of our HR operations and employee services. Working under the Director of HR Operations and Employee Services, the HRIS Manager will ensure our HR systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our business needs.

Responsibilities
    Lead the administration, configuration, and ongoing management of ADP Workforce Now to ensure optimal performance and utilization.
  • Manage the HRIS work of a team that is responsible for day-to-day HRIS queries, processing actions, and providing technical support, training, reporting, analysis, and guidance to users across the organization.
  • Manage HRIS projects from inception through completion including planning, executing, and monitoring progress to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement HRIS policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure data integrity and security.
  • Generate and analyze complex reports and metrics to support strategic decision-making and report on HR metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and other departments to identify system improvement opportunities, automate processes, integrate systems, and enhance functionality.
  • Stay abreast of the latest HR technology trends and innovations, recommending upgrades or new systems to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS or related roles with a strong preference for expertise in ADP Workforce Now
  • Proven track record of managing and implementing HR systems and projects
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Deep understanding of HR processes and data including payroll, benefits, talent management, and compliance
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work onsite at SPA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA
