Sentara Health is currently hiring a Team Coordinator, Neurophysiology at Sentara Belleharbour Sleep Center.

In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for:

  • Assumes responsibility, accountability, and provides leadership for daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, and team member supervision in the assigned department.
  • Facilitates staff management in multi-skilled, multi-functional environment and coordinates quality improvement activities, resolution of customer service issues, and management and monitoring of resource utilization.
  • Participate in the work activities of assigned teams through providing assistance, serving as technical resource and participating in the work as a member of the team.
  • Contribute to the success of the department through effective work coordination and management of resources.
  • Provide input in the preparation of operational and capital budgets, and participates in goal accomplishment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Either Electroencephalograph Tech (EEG) or Reg Polysomnographic Tech (RPSGT) certification required
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience
  • Previous Management or leadership experience preferred
  • Basic Life SupportRequired

Job Summary

Bachelor's degree preferred

Either Electroencephalograph Tech (EEG) or Reg Polysomnographic Tech (RPSGT) certification required

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Registered Electroencephalographic Technician (EEG) - Certifications - American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPT) - Certifications - Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT)
