Key Result Areas:

  • Ability to assist with the day-to-day activities of the direct supervisor
  • Prepare promotions and/or analysis for Business Manager's final review

Skills and Knowledge:

Well developed interpersonal skills, organized, multi-tasker, team player, creative, sense of urgency, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, accurate data entry skills

Principle Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate monthly pricing and promotional pricing by working with accounting team and pricing manager
  • Maintain promotional and appointment calendars as related to customers and clients
  • Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship in the day-to-day activities of Business Manager, while also working independently
  • Manage assigned vendor trade systems (input/extract day to day maintenance, promotional events)
  • Prepare sales reports as requested by Business Manager or client for analysis
  • Prospect client analysis to include research, Nielsen, pricing, and item level SKU data
  • Run and analyze market information (i.e. Nielsen, Empower IT) and possess the critical thinking skills to draw accurate conclusions
  • Track presentations and category reviews submitted to retail customers, analyzing final results for future presentations and planning
  • Completion and management of various forms required by retail customers, including new item forms, promotional calendars, buyer appointment requests, category reviews etc.
  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned
  • Perform ad hoc requests for Business Manager as deemed necessary for service to client and retail customer
  • Possess the ability to create, control and coordinate time sensitive calendars, submission dates, appointments and related deadlines
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties, including but not limited to:
    • POS requirements
    • Coordinate distribution of product samples and coupons
    • Verifying bi-monthly shelf tags
    • Monthly syndicated data analysis of category and manufacturer businesses
    • Provide new item sales and overview material upon receipt from DeCA
    • Provide necessary selling material for field mandatory packages
    • Overseas pricing
    • In store product demonstration coordination
    • Display Period category analysis

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience, in a business or marketing discipline.

5 years related experience (preferred) in a similar capacity
