As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will help build out and run production environments, automate operations and maintain and support infrastructure. Successful collaboration with the development teams is an integral part of this role.

• Implement and support integrated CI/CD pipelines for on-premises and/or cloud assets using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket, Nexus/Artifactory
• Implement, deploy and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for provisioning infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
• Maintain, monitor, and improve application configurations using tools such as Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Chef Designs, deploys, monitors, and manages cloud solutions in public environments such as AWS or Azure, or private environments using tools such as VMWare and NetApp.
• Hands on coding and scripting
• Deploy and manage applications into container platforms such as Docker, EKS, or OpenShift
• Design, build, and maintain automated monitoring and notification services to support fault tolerant and highly available systems and metrics using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, EFK, and Prometheus

Required:

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience
• 7+ years of hands-on experience implementing & configuring cloud environments (e.g. AWS, SalesForce, Azure)
• Experience in implementing infrastructure as code
• Strong cloud platform experience (preferably with Amazon Web Services)
• Experience in at least one technology/tool from each of the following categories:
  • Configuration Management: Helm, Ansible (preferred), Chef, or Puppet
  • GitOps: Flux or Argo CD
  • Shell Scripting: BASH, PowerShell
  • Systems Administration: Linux (RHEL), Windows
  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Go CD
  • Build Automation: Maven, Gradle
  • Version Management: Git (preferred), SVN
  • Web Server: Apache, Nginx, HAProxy
  • Programming Languages: Python, Ruby, Java
  • Agile Methodologies: Kanban (preferred), Scrum
  • Availability during the core business hours of 9-5 EST
• Ability to obtain an maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred:

• Experience deploying enterprise software within AWS Services, including: RDS, EC2, Elastic Load Balancers, Cloud Formation, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, multi regions, and API Gateway
• Candidates in the easterrn, central or mountain time zones
• Experience supporting US federal government contracts

In accordance with pay transparency guidelines, the proposed salary range for this position is $120,000 to $155,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors such as relevant skills, experience and certifications.
