About the Role

The Commercial Strategy Pricing Senior Analyst will be primarily responsible for translating company strategy into sustainable pricing, assortment, and pack price architecture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess Pricing landscape - Assess market landscape by analyzing sales/price trends, price gaps, thresholds, elasticity, penetration, buy-rates, margin, external best practices, competitive landscape, competitive conduct.
  • Closely coordinating with the Procurement Finance team to proactively understand business cost pressures and leading the CPI at minimum on top of leveraging and setting best practices for other pricing mechanics such as behavioral pricing, psychological pricing etc.
  • Support alignment across different functional partners (category management, revenue management, sales) on CPI execution and ensure tracking & monitoring performance post implementation in market.
  • Assist with defining price architectures across Commercial Strategy, evaluate and recommend pack differentiation based on competitive actions. Assist with the development of the pack-price curve of each Brand, Segment & PPG by markets against competitor's portfolio.
  • Support clusters with analytical and statistical models for price architecture to identify opportunities applying SKU's elasticity, meta-analysis, Pareto, fair-share analysis, pack-price curves to optimize value across packs.
  • Assist with key insights projects (discrete modeling) to facilitate understanding of price architecture across categories. Create visibility of shopper data and connect with category performance.
  • Support to create 3-year plan to optimizePPA (at pack-channel level).

About You

  • Post-secondary education, ideally with an emphasis on at least one of the following: finance, business, commerce, and/or accounting.
  • Experience working on transformation projects, demonstrated competency in improving efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen that enable decision making.
  • Customer facing experience to sell plans to customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and sell recommendations internally.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate this thinking into measurable actions.
