CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Jr. Network Administrator to join our Corporate - Ops & Innovation/IT Team at our office in either Albany, NY; Fort Washington, PA; Blacksburg, VA; Indianapolis, IN; or Miami, FL.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's corporate support teams provide vital specialized services to our technical business lines and market teams including, financial, legal, marketing, business development, human resources, information technology and operational services. These teams may also support clients when their skills and expertise are required.

The Jr. Network Administrator position's primary responsibility is for the administration and maintenance of Network Operations Systems (ex. network applications, servers, virtual environments, storage) as assigned by the Lead Network Administrator and Dir. of Network Operations. More specifically, the professional in this role helps with the administration of technologies such as System Center Endpoint Manager, SharePoint, VMware, Teams, Office36, Azure services, Veeam or VDI, etc. The Jr. Network Administrator installs, configures, monitors and troubleshoots Windows server and desktop operation systems and applications as well as helps to handle Network Operations and escalated HelpDesk support tickets.

Moreover, the Jr. Network Administrator helps to conduct active Directory administration (Permissions, Users, Sites, DFS, DNS, etc..), performs network hardware replacement and upgrades, troubleshoots and monitors backup infrastructure, as well as assists with data archiving and retrieval. Additionally, the professional in this role assists with network operations tasks related to office relocations and uses System Center Suite and Intune for endpoint management including imaging, application management, baselines, inventory, etc.

REQUIREMENTS
    Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, industry certifications or professional experience
  • Desktop level certification (deploying, managing) preferred
  • Microsoft server certification preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' technical support directly supporting end users
  • Some work history of network administration support preferred
  • Scripting experience strongly preferred, PowerShell, or other languages
  • Demonstrates an ongoing personal history of professional development and learning
  • Must be trustworthy and able to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to travel occasionally to other company offices may be required
