As a Lead UI Developer, you will use cutting-edge cloud and data technologies to help global brands and federal agencies solve challenging problems through innovative technology solutions. What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing, developing and implementing custom software and database application capabilities for a variety of legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight.
  • Acting as a member of a product team supporting teammates and collaborating with a do what it takes attitude to ensure product and team success.
  • Bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, focusing on both the aesthetics and functionality of web applications.
  • Providing improvements to the product(s) being supported.
  • Actively participate in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases.
  • Set the direction for UI development, evaluating, and adopting UI frameworks and libraries to build better, more efficient software.
  • Ensuring product quality and timeliness of work, providing advice and guidance, resolving problems to meet objectives, and providing periodic performance reports.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and back-end developers ensures that projects are executed seamlessly.
  • Mentor junior UI developers, lead code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and engage in debugging processes to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
  • Cultivates a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.
  • Supporting release planning with conceptual design and development/refinement of software engineering guidelines.
  • Analyzing complex project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools and solution components.

Location and Travel Details

This is a remote position with occasional travel (if needed).


Profile of Success

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience as UI/UX Developer.
  • At least 2 years of experience of leading and mentoring a team.
  • Extensive experience leading code review to ensure code quality.
  • Strong development experience in CSS and Angular.
  • Experience with creating Angular components, services, good understanding of state management and UI performance.
  • Proven development background with front-end web technologies.
  • Experience working with backend developers for seamless integration between front-end and back-end.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, O365, AWS), SharePoint (2013+), .NET Core, and Dynamics.
  • Front-end web development background with Angular and/or React.
  • Desire to obtain or utilize relevant technical certifications as part of continuous professional growth.
