This clinical social worker role will collaborate alongside an interdisciplinary team of OB/GYN family planning providers, nurses, chaplains, and program administrators to ensure trauma-informed care and logistical support of patients before and after procedures. This LCSW will provide anticipatory and bereavement supportive counseling as well as facilitating a monthly virtual perinatal loss support group to patients and partners related to interruption of pregnancy and pregnancy loss. Additionally, this team member will address patient needs related to temporary housing, transportation, intimate partner violence and substance use by coordinating community resources.
This new team member will be expected to report in person to work with their team and see patients in clinic during normal business hours, Mon-Fri. No expectation of on call, weekends, or major holidays when the ambulatory clinics are closed.
