The Intelligence Programs Group, part of Systems Planning and Analysis Inc.'s Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. We utilize mission-proven, data-driven advisory tools and capabilities. We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting edge technology necessary for our National Defense. Our portfolio includes the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). SPA is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Action Officer (DAG) - Intermediate to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area.

Responsibilities
    Perform and maintain DAG support functions to include recognition programs, training and security.
  • Will be responsible for tracking, editing and submitting awards and other HR-Related duties from time-time.
  • Manage NRO Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) actions for supported office.
  • Analyze and assign or perform actions as appropriate.
  • Coordinate responses and assess for accuracy prior to senior management review.
  • Manage and execute the action tracking process; develop standard operating procedures and serves as facilitator for user requirements.
  • Monitor progress on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meetings deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending new actions.
  • Disseminate policy and legislative changes to appropriate parties internal to the NRO.
  • Draft, proofread, edit and provide final review of internal and external correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain presentations for audiences up to the NRO level, maintain a quality control process for all presentations.
  • Participate in DAG related meetings.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in related technical or business discipline (Advanced degree preferred) plus 4+ yrs relevant experience OR High School diploma/ GED and 8+ yrs relevant experience
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition requirements. Department of Defense DoD/Intelligence Community (IC) budget & finance, and National Security Policy.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, project or program management.
  • Ability to understand and write in systems engineering technical language.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
