Job Description
JLL is seeking an HVAC Technician to join our team
This position has a strong focus on maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on all Mechanical Systems. Individuals are expected to demonstrate technical expertise in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting and be multi-skilled in other areas (plumbing, electrical) in order to successfully complete daily / weekly work assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including but not limited to air conditioning units, boilers, chillers, and ventilation systems.

Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, electrical, distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds, and production equipment as it pertains to assigned buildings.

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues to ensure timely and effective repairs.

Conduct regular inspections of HVAC equipment and systems to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions.

Maintain and repair lab HVAC systems and equipment.

Collaborate with team members to plan and execute installation, repair, and replacement projects.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance history.

Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve HVAC system performance.

Update work order status in real time

Understanding of BMS system.

Performing modifications and updates of BMS systems and components.

Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed.

Required qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Technician.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred qualifications:
Valid HVAC technician certification.

Experience working in a laboratory, bio, or pharmaceutical environment.

Experience in plumbing and knowledge of plumbing systems.

Experience with air filtration systems and environmental controls in controlled environments.
