Description

JOB PURPOSE: The Program Compliance Specialist is responsible for planning and monitoring the day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of the Home Study and Post Release Services (HSPRS) program. The Program Compliance Specialist works with the HSPRS Quality Assurance Manager to plan and organize data, monitoring, and quality assurance activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical assistance and resource coordination to assist program staff.

  • Provide oversight of program quality and quality assessment tools, facilitate training sessions, meetings, or conferences associated with the program, including, creation, management, and delivery of culturally centered instruction, and orientation materials to staff.

  • Responsible for data entry compliance and maintaining program records. Design, collect and track programmatic outcomes data and ensure data integrity.

  • Assist in preparing reports and financial statements regarding program operations by tracking data points.

  • Actively establish, enhance and maintain liaison relationships with key government agencies, and non-profits/ community organizations.

  • Comply with policies and procedures governing the program and ensure that the program is operating at maximum efficiency.

  • Maintain and update Policies and Procedures (P&P) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manuals.

  • Conduct ongoing desk monitoring of local case managers implementing this program. Review and refine desk monitoring protocols, develop tools to meet program guidelines.

  • Assist with technical and proposal writing.

  • Meet or exceed program productivity expectations on a regular and sustained basis

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Must pass FBI and CA/N checks

  • Must be 21 years of age

EDUCATION: Undergraduate degree in social work, social sciences, public health, non-profit management, or related field from an accredited college or university or a combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 years of experience relevant to the position and working with vulnerable or migrant populations; 3 years preferred.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
