Here, you'll have the chance to work with an agile team as they develop Digital Twin solutions to support our clients' most pressing missions. We're looking for someone to shape and drive solution growth by takingcurrentdemand and architecting not only a future state vision, but the strategy to get there. As a solution architect, you design and move processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences. You are passionate about driving scale, enabling reuse, and ensuring that the technology delivered is supporting our clients' missions.

As a Solution Architect on our team, you will translate your customer's Digital Twin needs and future goals into a plan by crafting an innovative architecture and seeing it through development and deployment. Through your leadership, we'll help transform the way our clients use this technology, bringing the best to bear on cloud solutions, DevSecOps, data architecture, and immersive technology. You will also help shape the Digital Twin business by having a pulse on the technical landscape as it evolves and changes and identify and lead growth opportunities as a technical leader.

At this level, you'll also serve as a leader and mentor for technical teams. You will also work in a cross-cutting fashion with multiple Agile teams to drive architectural consistency and technical solution architecture across all layers, including infrastructure, platform, data, business services, user interface, security, and enterprise services. This includes incorporating modernsoftware development principles and technologies, including cloud-native development using microservices and containers. You'll enable cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and mentor team members on how to enhance their technical skills and build a big picture perspective about different components of a technology solution and how they fit together. At this level, you'll also serve as a mentor for technical teams.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience with managing cross-functional technical teams that operate using modern software development best practices, such as Agile and DevSecOps

  • 4+ years of experience withsolution architecturesoftware development and modernization efforts

  • 2+ years of experience with creating domain-driven architectures or design and development of microservices-based solutions using platforms, including AWS EKS, Azure AKS, RedHat OpenShift, or Docker Enterprise

  • Experience with managingthedevelopment ofreference architectures based on technical requirements and translating end-to-end solution architectures into technical delivery requirements for teams to execute against

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • 4+ years of experience with continuous integration(CI)or continuous deployment(CD)pipelines in public or hybrid cloud environments using technologies, including Jenkins, GitLab, Apache Subversion, Ansible, Puppet, and AWS Cloud Forms

  • Experience with Unity, Unreal, or NVIDIA Omniverse

  • Experience with delivering simulations and AR/VR solutions

  • Experience with cloud computing, including IaaS and PaaS offerings

  • Experience with ETL, data pipeline and automation

  • Experience with AI/ML

  • Ability to partner with senior-level client stakeholders, provide technical thought leadership, and bring innovation to achieve business needs

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
