Through incorporation of Lean driven principles, staff are able effect change in the organization to solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.As an employer of choice, we are devoted to assuring that we provide a safe, healthy, and patient-centric workplace, while keeping staff wellbeing and satisfaction top of mind.We invite you to learn more about our wonderful community: There's something about Salem, Oregon!Your Role With Us:You will employ your astute technical knowledge and resourcefulness to address, troubleshoot and resolve common desktop computer and software problems for all computer users at Salem Health.Core Functions:Prioritize trouble calls, set timelines and respond to customer needs.Respond to work orders per protocol or with direction from others to support effective work by system users.Provide consultation and troubleshooting of hardware and software problems for customers.Respond to customer inquiries, troubleshoot customer issues, and follow up on customer interactions.Perform limited repairs on computers and printers. Replace components as needed.Instruct and illustrate use of software and hardware.Maintain accurate and complete documentation of desktop calls, fixes, and needed follow-up.Total Rewards Offerings:Family Support (Childcare discounts, new parent resources, and discounted Pet Insurance)Onsite fitness center with 24/7 badge accessFood and drink discounts in the cafeteria.Impressive discounts offered by Nike, Adidas, Carhartt and others.Background/Expertise:Bachelor's degree required OR One (1) year of college level course work in hardware, software components, operating systems OR Minimum of two (2) years of directly related experience will be accepted in lieu of education.Minimum of two (2) years of experience setting up new equipment, troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance.Working knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office Suite, ITSM Tools and assigned applications and technologies.Working knowledge of software development and implementation technologies.Technical knowledge of personal computer operations, basic network operations and data communications set-ups.Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics is an equal opportunity employer.
