Bluehawk is actively seeking a Programmer Analyst. As a Programmer Analyst you will build and code applications and/or modules using languages such as C++, visual basic, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, etc.

You will work as part of a small development team. Although the majority of the technical work will be done independently, this role will require regular collaboration within and external to the development team.

You will:

Apply software engineering best practices to help refactor and productionize a high-visibility capability developed within Research.
• Manage the full-stack associated with the capability, including the database, compute, and web service.
• Prepare the capability for NGA CORE compliance, involving CI/CD, containerization, and interfacing with cloud services.
  
• Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems.
• May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users.
• Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
• May build add-on modules using application program language.

• Virtualization and containerization
• CI/CD tools for static code scanning, image scanning, deployment, etc.
• GIS tools such as postgis and leaflet
• GeoServer
• (Optional) Experience with NGA CORE
• (Optional) Experience developing in the RLE environment
• Must have active Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance

• Research experience.
