Your Role With Us:We are seeking a BSN-prepared nurse with excellent interpersonal skills to use their intuitive communication style in forming positive, collaborative relationships with hospital staff, patients, families and post-acute providers as our new Infusion Clinical Manager. This role will engage others in two-way dialogue and problem-solving, perform public speaking and leadership of group activities, and use creative/critical thinking to optimize outcomes. The Infusion Clinical Manager will spearhead the operationalization of strategic plans, provide direct clinical and administrative management of staff in outpatient Infusion clinics, and ensure accurate and safe treatment. This role manages the development, implementation and monitoring of defined departments in partnership with directors, managers, supervisors and related key stakeholders to develop and enhance patient care. The best candidate will demonstrate the ability to: build and maintain employee relations by leading and/or participating in staff meetings, team and visual board huddles, leader/staff 1:1s and rounding, develop team members through coaching, mentorship and support, and ensure necessary infrastructure to achieve a continuous state of regulatory and accreditation readiness. The Infusion Clinical Manager also, among others: Develops, monitors and achieves goals for quality and safety, financial objectives, patient and employee experience.Manages department supervisor, front line staff and operations, assuring sufficient numbers of competent staff and a shared decision making model that engages staff in achieving organization goals.Delivers an effective and efficient patient care delivery model and maintains a clinical environment that reflects research and evidence-based practices and incorporates accreditation standards.Acts as department representative by serving on various committees and meetings throughout the organization.Serves as a central resource to the Director to develop tools, processes, and systems to optimize department and project outcomes and achieve strategic goals.Tracks, maintains, and measures, department finances.Utilizes Lean tools and methodology to meet or exceed organizational goals.Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and skill in professional field. Leads, implements, and rewards innovative approaches to work for self, staff and physicians.Encourages all staff to challenge themselves to stretch toward progressive outcomes.Holds self and others to high standards of accountability and service excellence.Acknowledges and celebrates excellent performance. Master's Degree preferred.Experience:Minimum of three (3) years supervisory and/or management experience required.Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in a hospital setting required.Leadership experience in Infusion, oncology, outpatient clinic preferred.Licenses/Certifications/Registration:Oregon State Board of Nursing license required.Current BLS from the AHA certification required.Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy administration certification required within 12 months of hire date.Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) preferred.Special knowledge, skills, & abilities:Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.Ability to handle multiple issues and adjust to changing situations and needs.Ability to problem-solve in a proactive, creative manner, using sound judgment based on factual information and clinical knowledge.Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.Ability to develop or demonstrate leadership skills and to serve as a role model for clinical staff.Computer skills related to equipment and software used in the department.
