About Us: Our healthcare facility, dedicated to serving the homeless population in Washington, DC, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The facility accommodates 50 beds and focuses on providing medical attention, health education, and support to individuals experiencing homelessness. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those in need, this is a rewarding opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:

Patient Care:
- Provide medical care and attention to individuals experiencing homelessness.
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as required.
- Monitor and assess patient health status.

Health Education:
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement educational programs.

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Background working with the homeless population is a significant advantage.

Licensing and Certifications:
- Must hold a valid nursing license in the District of Columbia.
- Current COVID-19 vaccination, including booster.
- Immunizations: MMR, Varicella, PPD, Hepatitis B, T-DAP, and annual flu shot.

Availability:
- Available to work weekends, with flexibility for one 12-hour shift per weekend.

Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
