Responsible for managing patient's medical nutrition therapy in accordance with the medical staff approved clinical practice standards. Serves as a resource for nutrition education.If Bachelor's Degree is in major other than Dietetics, must complete an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics. If not Reg Dietitian or RDN at hire, must obtain within 9 months. PACE specific incumbents for this position require a minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population. BLS required within 90 days of hire
Qualifications:
BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Dietetics (Required)Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Registered Dietician (RD) - Certifications - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) - Certifications - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)Skills
