Summary -
Working from shop drawing, procedures or other written, verbal or electronic instruction, perform a wide variety of operations associated with welded assembly of final product, sub-assemblies and componentry for chiller products which includes adherence to ASME Code Safety Regulations. Maintain equipment and facilities in a safe, clean and efficiently operational manner. Adhere to procedures and prepare and maintain records, in either written or electronic form, regarding safety, quality, productivity, preventive maintenance and housekeeping. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Duties -
In manufacturing of Chiller Products a Welder is required to perform, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Read, interpret, understand and work from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, labor summaries and other written, electronic or verbal instruction.
- Work with a variety of ferrous, non-ferrous and alloy materials.
- Operate various tools and equipment used in the fabrication, handling, manipulation and movement of Chiller Product and various welding techniques.
- Perform within and have working knowledge of ASME Code regulations.
- Use measuring devices and visual inspection to ensure quality of product and conformity to prints, work instructions and standards.
- Maintain required records.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Direct, guide, assist and/or train others to promote manufacturing flexibility.
