Data Engineer

Remote/USA Only

Overview

Aveshka is currently seeking multiple data engineers to serve as part of a larger team supporting data mining, analysis, and forecasting of financial data for one of our customers. In this role, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of analysts and engineers who will be working on a multi-year effort to transform how the customer does data analytics by designing, re-engineering, and rebuilding how data analytics is performed.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience
• U.S. Citizenship or be legally authorized to work in the US

• Python, PySpark
• UI
• Angular
• Java
• AWS native services
• Databases (PostgreSQL, Aurora)
• Data engineering (EMR, Redshift, Glue)
• Serverless experience (Lambda, step functions)
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL
• Star/Snowflake Schema Design
• Datamart / Data Warehousing
• Multi-Dimensional OLAP

Desired Qualifications

• Past finance experience
• SAS knowledge
• DevOps knowledge (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Terraform)
• Testing Automation
