Job Description-

Position Summary:

Responsible for the engineering, designing, specifying, and executing projects involving extruders and auxiliary support equipment used in process applications such as plastics, food and other processes.

Work You'll Do:

• Develop basic technical documents such as design criteria, system descriptions, specifications, and requests for equipment procurement.

• Give technical direction to design and drafting personnel in the development of construction and fabrication drawings for specific customer project.

• Assist with testing the assembled equipment to ensure it preforms as designed.

• Review vendor documentation such as drawings, procedures, and operations manuals to assure that these are in conformance with Speciation given to the vendors.

• Interface with customers and suppliers on technical matters when required.

Team:

• This position will work with a team of engineering professional, to complete project work.

Basic Qualifications:

• Familiar with CAD Packages (preferably E-Plan), ability to read complex electrical diagrams

• Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures with this particular field.

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.

• 2+ years of applicable engineering experience.

• Possess basic troubleshooting skills for electrical components.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Be proficient with Allen Bradley Control Logix and Compact Logix hardware and RS-Logix 5000 programming software. Siemens S7-300 Series PLC programming a plus.

• Ability to perform system integration of multiple pieces of equipment under an extended scope project

• Be able to develop HMI applications using Wonderware, Factory Talk. Siemens Win CC HMI software a plus.

• Familiar with NEC, NFPA or related industry standard codes.
