The Opportunity:

As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to developing software that is based on communications and RF theory. We're looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to help develop cutting-edge communications theory algorithms that leverage machine learning.

At Booz Allen, you'll use your engineering skills to transform national security spaces. Our team works to research new and innovative ways to leverage machine learning to develop new hardware and software packages that can process RF digital signal processing algorithms. That's why we need you, an electrical engineer with a background in signal processing, embedded processing, RF theory, or software development to help us design and develop new tools for these hard signal-processing problems. On our team, you'll learn how to utilize your skills and background to help the team develop new algorithms that leverage machine learning but operate on traditional communications theory principles. This is a chance to grow your knowledge of signals, communications systems, and RF theory while gaining experience in machine learning. You Have:

• Experience with signal processing in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++
• Experience in signals analysis and information theory
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Spring 2024

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR)
• Experience with Embedded Software Development
• Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning (ML/DL)
• Experience working with SDRs, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and RF Lab Equipment
• Experience with JIRA, GitHub, and Agile Development
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master's degree in EE
