Work Shift

Second (Evenings) (United States of America)

The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist provides individual, group, and/or family therapy; provides staff consultation/supervision, and education. Responsible for the provision of social work/counseling services to patients receiving care in the inpatient and outpatient behavioral health setting. Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient. Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs. Evaluates effectiveness of plans and initiates change as needed.

Master's Level Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Psychiatric Nurse Specialist or related field.

Preference for certification in Addiction, Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) etc.

Currently licensed as an Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) OR Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Certification, or willingness to achieve certification, from their respective board to perform supervision of Masters level clinicians. Current HS AED Certification

De-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire.
