Our team in Space and Defense is looking for an Electronic Technicians to join them. You will report to the

Motors Production Coach. And will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.

To be considered for the Electronic Technician role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• A Two-year Associate degree in Electronics or related field
• Experience testing electrical and electronic components, including the setup and use of electronic test equipment
• Ability to endure heavy lifting (up to 55lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation
• The know-how to understand electronic schematics

As an Electronic Technician, you will:

• Correctly store, clean and maintain tools and equipment; verify calibration dates/seals
• Thoroughly complete data sheets/test reports for parts tested
• Write test instructions
• Design and assemble electronics and electromechanical test setups
• Perform qualification, acceptance, or special tests
• Develop trouble-shooting procedures
• Maintain working knowledge of logic circuitry
• Learn how to use new types of test equipment and test systems
• Instruct others in the build and test of electronics and electromechanical assemblies
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic equipment
• Load and maintain software for ATE
• Help train / cross-train others
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process
• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range:

• $37,000-$39,000, depending on experience

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
