Job Title: React Full Stack Developer

Work Location: Remote

Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust

We are seeking a React Full Stack Developer and a technologist rolled into one - in short someone who is highly resourceful and is able to adapt to dominant development platforms and frameworks. As a full stack developer, you will be problem solving using complete end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. We are looking for developers that like to wear many hats and work with a dynamic suite of technologies to build software from vision to production. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team in the modernization of several applications utilized by a Federal Government client.

Responsibilities:

  • Support IT projects(s) within Federal government as an Development Lead and Full Stack Consultant - this includes but not limited to delivering project requirements as a Full Stack Developer, providing architecture support, Developing prototypes, developing solution presentations, and evaluating a platform.
  • Provide solutioning and sales support for growth initiatives within the application modernization domain.
  • Maintain acute awareness of market and industry trends

Requirements:

  • At least (3) years'' experience in Application development using React, or Java or .NET.
  • Some experience using full stack platforms and technologies. The sample technologies include Angular, React, JavaScript, NPM, APIs, java, NET, SpringBoot, AWS, Azure, etc.
  • Experience with one or more test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Jasmine, Chai, Mocha
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve several software applications.
  • Build and own full stack development for software applications
  • Develop new features using acceptance test-driven development
  • Participate in pair programming methodologies
  • Build and own quality throughout the development cycle by writing automated unit tests, integration tests, functional tests, and UI tests
  • Work in and with small feature delivery teams: cross-functional, cross-component team that completes many end-to-end customer features, one by one
  • Develop and maintain API specifications using Swagger Editor
  • Develop new features using microservices
  • Develop API design approach using AWS cloud and open source technologies
  • Participate in Extreme Programming methodologies
  • Participate in product strategy, product design and product development activities
  • Use lean and agile work management and engineering practices
  • Must have understanding of Design and Architecture patterns
  • Strong understanding of Cloud platforms and offerings (especially Containers and serverless)
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile processes and DevSecOps engineering.
  • The ability to travel between locations, mostly within Washington DC Metro area, as needed.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen and be able to get security clearance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or a similar program

Desired Qualifications / Experience:

  • Public Trust clearance
  • Federal Government IT delivery Experience
  • Cloud certification
