Job Description

Quality Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Arlington, VA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Quality Engineering Manager in Arlington, VA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Design and maintain master test plan that encompasses test strategy for functional and end-to-end testing, test environments, and automation approach.
  • Develop technical designs according to project standards and participates in the configuration and testing of changes to meet functional and technical system requirements.
  • Develop API Automation framework and integrate the automation framework with Jenkins.
  • Support Integration testing, System testing, and User Acceptance tests by fixing defects and turn arounds quickly within the given Service Level Agreement.
  • Define, track, and publish test metrics, including code coverage, quality, and performance to the team and client.
  • Apply and support DevOps implementation in project.
  • Defect fixing support for the application components of client project.
  • Collaborate with engineers and software developers to select appropriate design solutions and ensure the compatibility of system components.
  • Document design specifications, configuration instructions, and other system-related information.
  • Apply SAFe Agile practices in project.
  • Monitor system operations to detect potential problems.
  • Liaise with onshore and offshore teams to convey the requirements, clarify the designs and verify the deliverables.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in the IT consulting industry. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Designing and developing Application Program Interface (API) Test Automation using Selenium;
  • Designing and developing Data driven Testing Framework using ReadyAPI and Groovy Scripting;
  • Executing DevOps and implementing Agile methodology;
  • Behavior Driven Development using Cucumber for large complex applications;
  • Implementing and following Software Configuration Management (SCM) process and executing Continuous Integration or Continuous Development using GitHub and Jenkins;
  • Testing Cloud Native Microservices Architecture and NoSQL Document Databases; and
  • Implementing Configuration and Release Management process.

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Implementing Agile Delivery process;
  • Driving key architectural and design decisions;
  • Managing Test Architecture for J2EE projects, including providing solutions for complex requirements on front-end, middleware, and back-end; and
  • Testing Hospitality modern reservation systems.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
