Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides armed security to U.S. Department of Defense installation located OCONUS. Ensures all tasks, such as entry control, towers, patrols, vehicle and personnel searches and bag screening are conducted in accordance with the contract. Provides updates and status reports; writes spot reports and incident reports, as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Physical/ Static armed security for assets, personnel, and equipment
  • Operate as a Team member for the (QRF) Quick Reaction Force
  • Serve as an armed escort for non-cleared personnel, VIPs, and Israel Ministry of Defense Security Forces
  • Provide initial Emergency Medical Care and response in accordance with (TCCC) Tactical Combat Causality Care procedures, as well as assist in MEDEVAC procedures
  • Monitor (TASS) Tactical Automated Security System, intrusion detection, and surveillance systems to provide counter terrorism and threat surveillance
  • Provide logistical and operational support while conducting security operations in the (TOC) Tactical Operations Center
  • Conduct searches and screenings of persons, equipment, and vehicles entering and exiting (ECP) Entry Control Points
  • Conduct building searches, perimeter patrols, and tower guard post for base defense
  • Conduct daily physical training to maintain mission readiness
  • Adheres to and actively supports company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Report all alarm discrepancies or security violations immediately to leadership
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum 1 year of combined honorable military, law enforcement, or private security experience within the last 5 years
  • Must have received an honorable discharge as verified by a form DD-214 (U.S. Military)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Shall possess an active U.S. Secret Clearance
  • Able to successfully complete a physical fitness test consisting of performing 19 push ups in 2 minutes and run a 1.5 mile in 17:30 or faster
  • Able to qualify with M4 rifle and pistol and all qualifications required by the contract

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work, including walking, running, standing, pulling, and pushing in wet, icy, or muddy areas. Perform physical demanding work in hot (in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit) and humid (up to 100 percent humidity) atmosphere while wearing duty equipment and PPE

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
